Guru Day. Blessed Be the Full Moon.

I am writing this in a bit of an ecstatic trance, three hours after the moon came in at its fullest, and three hours after I woke from my evening nap.  My clock had said that it was 3.30am, but it does that sometimes.

Listening to Krishna Das, I am resurrecting all of these deeply spiritual moments for me whence everything else doesn’t matter anymore.  It all does not matter.

Skanda Vale.  Having the clouds split right over me.  Candle flames flickering with all of my Love inside them.  Swimming in a frozen sea, and Loving every bit of it.  OH!, the hugs I’ve received over this lifetime, how special they have been.  And the inspiration all around me.  Thankyou thankyou THANKYOU for all of this.  It has been such a wonderful time.  Such a wonderful time.  Om Namo Bhagavate.

Sometimes I forget all of this, and it all becomes a flurry of conventionalism.  Somehow, it feels that the mind can fall head over heals in Love, and the Spirit can be forgotten and left to a side.  How do we resurface the Spirit in times like this?  It feels, to me, like it is working on its own, as the lifeforce of the vegetable works separately to the toil of the gardener.  As the drummer’s hands work separately to the drummer’s mind.

What is going through my mind right now is of these Blessings
that we all receive
of Light Light Light Light Light
and More Light.
‘More Love, More Power, More of You in My Heart’.
‘Hari Krishna, Hari Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hari Hari’.
It is Light that can only be expressed for me
by opening my Heart to show you.
So here, look into this open Heart.

On this day, on Guru’s day, I feel perturbed to quote from ‘The Prophet’.

Say not, “I have found the truth,” but rather, “I have found a truth.”
Say not, “I have found the path of the soul.”  Say rather, “I have met the soul walking upon my path.”
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.

I have to add that I believe strongly that Guru is within me, and I believe Guru is within You, and you, and You All.  I believe that we all know when we are communicating with Guru.  It is a completely sacred feeling for me, it is GOD cracking open the sky and throwing waterlily petals over us all whilst we meditate.  Oh me oh my.
